Customer feedback in action: 2024 product updates

Written by GoodShape | Dec 19, 2024 2:36:29 PM
As we wrap up 2024, here’s a look at some of the product updates we’ve made throughout the year, driven by valuable feedback and requests from our clients and end users.

Multi-factor authentication

Launched: February 2024

An increasing number of clients, and specifically their Security teams, wanted multi-factor authentication to be added into GoodShapeCentral. This was delivered in early in the year, with support for Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and Free OTP.

Health reports

Launched: April 2024

When the GoodShape App launched in 2023, we started capturing a lot of health and clinical data. Clients immediately began requesting aggregated data reports that would give them insight into what their staff health needs are, and what they were doing on the GoodShape App. A series of reports were launched in a new “Health” section of GoodShapeCentral, providing summaries of workforce health, care plan activity, and advice content views.

Working location

Launched: August 2024

Various clients wanted to be able to analyse absence rates based on an employee’s working location. So, a new section was added to the Profile section of the GoodShape App to begin capturing the data. The data has now been captured for around 50,000 employees and working location will be added as a filter in reports in early 2025.

Chatbot removal

Launched: August 2024

Users regularly fed back that they did not enjoy using a chatbot to update and close absences. Our data also showed that 28% of users were abandoning the process and still phoning in when trying to use the chatbot. The chatbot was therefore removed and replaced with a more user-friendly question and answer form. This ensures a simpler user experience and means we can communicate more details, such as confirming a return-to-work date or informing the user that they are trying to close their absence too early.

Column choosers

Launched: November 2024

Over the years, GoodShape has added more and more information to its reports. As a result, each report now contains a huge amount of data by default. Clients therefore began to request the opportunity to customise the report, and pick and choose their own columns, and how they are displayed.

Thank you to everyone who helped us to improve our service in 2024 - we truly value your feedback and our Client Success Managers welcome any further thoughts on how we can make your GoodShape experience even better.

Our Product team are looking forward to a busy 2025, with updates including:

  • improved alerts configuration
  • improved absence monitoring and reporting capabilities
  • further UI/UX updates to GoodShapeCentral and the GoodShape App
